KLT Lid D45 – Second Choice
The KLT Lid D45 – Second Choice is an economical alternative for applications outside standardised container pools.
The standard version fits all VDA-KLT containers with base dimensions of 400 × 300 mm. The lid reliably protects the container contents from contamination and enables secure closure of the container. It is virtually height-neutral and can be sealed.
The lids are fully functional from a technical standpoint. They are classified as Second Choice solely due to visual or marking-related deviations and not because of any functional or structural deficiencies.

Important Notice
Second Choice lids are not intended for use in standardised container pools, particularly not in container pools used by the automotive industry.
The classification as Second Choice may result, for example, from:
- Colour deviations or colour changes
- Incomplete or incorrect embossing
- Different or incomplete markings
- Other visual imperfections
Depending on availability, the lids may vary in colour as well as in markings and embossing. It is not possible to select a specific colour or version.
